ABOUT EDDIE

Sadly Eddie lost his fight in February 2009. He fought hard and bravely. Through his entire 10 month ordeal, some of it terribly agonizing , I never saw him shed a tear. A memorial site has been set up at http://www.edwardsaverino.com.

In memory and in honor of Eddie I hope to convert this website into a portal for information and support for the family and friends of others who are going through intensive medical hardship. Please check back if this interests you or leave a comment using the Letters and Comments menu above.

I'm John, Eddie's brother. Eddie suffered a terrible accident in March 2008 that left him fighting for his life. He continues to struggle more than 6 months later. Although he is able to whisper a word or two he isn't able to move much more than to raise his arms. I am still hoping he will begin to recover. It means so much to Eddie to know his family and friends are there for him. Please  continue to call, write and leave your comments here. I make sure to show Eddie all correspondence. It always puts a smile on his face.
